Traded: April 3, 1967: Jack was traded, along with John Miller, to the Los Angeles Dodgers for infielder John Kennedy.

Highlights

August 20, 1965: Jack tosses a three-hit, 1-0 shutout victory against Milt Pappas and the Baltimore Orioles in Baltimore. Jack walked two and struck out four on his way to the first and only complete game shutout of his career.  The only scoring in the game was provided by a two-out, Tom Tresh solo home run in the fourth.

August 30, 1965: Jack notches his second complete game victory in a span of 10 days, beating the California Angels 4-2 in Anaheim.  Jack allowed eight hits, four walks and struck out two.  He also helped his cause at the plate, going two-for-four with an RBI single in second inning.
