Facts, Trivia, Memories and More about Bartolo Colon

Highlights

May 30, 2011: Bartolo throws a complete game, four-hit, no walk shutout against the Oakland A's. Colon struck out six in the Yankees 5-0 win in Oakland. The shutout was the ninth of Colon's career and first since 2006 when he was with the Angels. (The 2006 shutout was his only win of that season.)

Memories

Philip F. from Hyattsville, MD wrote: "I've been a life long Yankees fan. It hurts to see them in the World Series against the Dodgers in 2024. I think what would it be like to have talent like Colon on the roster. I miss guys that would go out and make things happen. Good solid pitching, solid defense and contact hitting instead of home runs and poor defense. That is what I think of when I think of the Yankees. A step ahead of other organizations. I remember Colon with the Indians the most. What a performer he was for so many years. Go Yankees!
